The power of cable t.v..I can instruct; it can inform; it can entertain and it can anger.

I was watching my television the other night.I call it watching, my
wife calls it snippet entertainment. I flip through the channels much to her aggrivation.I have yet to find an adequate 12 step program for this, so if you know of one let me know.

On one channel( a popular "christian" station) there was a semi well known evangelist. She was spouting off the latest in the name it and claim it prosperity message.(or is that doctrine) 2 thoughts came to me: 1. John must have been pretty prosperous to have an island home in relative seclusion.
2. what kind of crap is this?

I picked up my bible and found prov.30:8+9
Keep falsehood and lies far from me;give me neither poverty nor riches,but give me only my daily bread. v.9 Otherwise I may have too much and disown you and say, "Who is the Lord?" ---Or I may become poor and steal, and so dishonor the name of my God.

That is my prayer... and I don't need to write a book about it to survive.

this is not cool - i just got my system on line - and i missed another tribe - now i'm officially ticked. for the last four months, every time the fisr roles around my isp drops me - they got the date on my credit card mixed up - and they can't seem to fix it - i hope it's cool this time - if not, i'll know in jan - someone email me and let me know what happened -
